To Prepare for your Carpet Cleaning:
When we're finished, your home will be sparkling clean, fresh and beautiful! Here are some suggestions for you to prepare that will help both of us:
- Please advise your technician about any special areas of concern.
- Please vacuum your carpeting before we arrive.
- Please pin up any full length draperies so that they will be at least 6 inches off the floor.
- Also, please pin up any skirts on upholstered furniture which may be touching the carpet.
- Remove all breakable items from furniture which will have to be temporarily moved from its regular location.
- Any small pieces, such as dining room chairs, magazine racks, floor plants, etc. that you can remove from the carpet to be cleaned will shorten processing time and return the carpet to normal use sooner.
- China cabinets, sectional sofas, entertainment centers, antique and fragile furniture cannot be moved.
- Please call to your technicians attention any spots or stains which may require special techniques.
- For your pet's peace of mind (and ours!) please put them in a safe, quiet place where our cleaning won't disturb them.
- A special note about odors:
We do everything possible to reduce or eliminate pet odors. However, due to the depth of contamination, 100% success may not be attainable. Also, for several days after cleaning you may notice an elevated odor due to higher humidity levels and "off-gassing".
- For safety sake, be sure to keep an extra close eye on your curious little ones while we have equipment in your home.
- Most importantly, if there is anything we can do to make this experience a better one for you, please let us know.
Thank you for working with us. We look forward to serving you.

To Prepare for your Air Duct Cleaning:
When we’re finished, your home’s air handling system will be clean, fresh and dust free! Here are some suggestions that will help you prepare for you service appointment:
- Clear a wide path from the closest exterior door to the HVAC system.
- Remove all obstacles from 6’ around the entire HVAC system.
- For your pet’s peace of mind (also ours!) please put them in a safe, quiet and comfortable place where the noise from our cleaning equipment won’t disturb them.
- For safety sake, please keep a close eye on those curious little ones while we have equipment in your home.
- Move anything obstructing our access to the return and supply vents in each room.
- Purchase a new filter and we’ll be glad to replace it for you once your system has been cleaned at no additional cost. (electronic filters exempt)
- If you’re scheduled for a dryer vent cleaning; please disconnect the dryer from its energy source and slide unit out providing as much access as possible to the vent itself.
- If outside temperatures are below 40 degrees; it’s probably in your best interest to stay in an interior portion of the house with a space heater or some other type of safe heating device. Interior temperatures will drop during the cleaning process.
Special after-care information:
When we’re finished, your home’s air handling system will be clean, fresh and dust free! Here are some suggestions that will help you prepare for you service appointment:
- It’s entirely normal to get a burn-off odor once the system is restarted after the cleaning process.
- Additionally, you may smell a disinfectant type odor. This will quickly dissipate once the system has run for a few minutes.
- We do our best to return all vents to their pre-cleaning set position. However, we suggest you check them yourself to ensure they are set where it’s most comfortable.
Thank you for working with us. We look forward to serving you.
